You may be able to alleviate back pain by wearing sensible shoes that are designed to fit your feet.
Consider these tips when shopping for shoes:
- Save shopping for shoes until the end of the day. Your feet tend to be the greatest size at this time.
- If one of your feet is larger than the other, fit the largest one.
- Wear the type of socks that you will be wearing with that particular shoe.
- Woman should avoid high heels and aim for flats. If heels are a "must have," then look for one with a small heel.
- Try on both shoes and walk around the store.
- If you hear yourself saying "it will take time to break them in", then that is not the right shoe for you. You should not have to "break them in."
- Buy the shoe that fits the activity. For instance, running shoes are designed to absorb your body's impact when it hits the ground.
Often times, footwear is not the sole reason for back pain. Proper nutrition and exercise will help immensely!
